Talk Talk - The Colour Of Spring (1986) [SACD 2003] PS3 ISO FLAC.zip

The Colour Of Spring is the third studio album by the British band Talk Talk, released in 1986. It is widely regarded as a masterpiece of art pop and a precursor to the post-rock genre. The album features a rich and diverse musical palette, combining elements of rock, jazz, classical, ambient, and experimental music. The album also marks a departure from the synth-pop sound of their previous albums, incorporating more organic and acoustic instruments, such as piano, organ, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and strings.

The album was a commercial and critical success, reaching number 8 on the UK Albums Chart and number 58 on the US Billboard 200. It spawned three singles: "Life's What You Make It", "Living In Another World", and "Give It Up", all of which reached the top 40 in the UK. The album was also praised for its lyrical depth and emotional resonance, exploring themes such as alienation, disillusionment, spirituality, and mortality.

In 2003, the album was remastered and reissued as a hybrid SACD (Super Audio CD), which contains two different masterings: the PCM redbook (16-bit, 44.1 kHz) remaster from 1997 reissue (CD layer), and a new DSD (Direct Stream Digital) remaster from 2003 (SACD layer). The SACD layer offers a higher resolution and dynamic range than the CD layer, as well as a surround sound option. The SACD also includes a booklet with lyrics and liner notes by music journalist Chris Roberts.

The PS3 ISO FLAC.zip file is a compressed archive that contains the ISO image of the SACD disc, which can be extracted and burned to a blank SACD-R disc or played on a compatible device. The archive also contains the FLAC files of the stereo tracks from the SACD layer, which can be played on any device that supports FLAC playback. The FLAC files have a bit depth of 24 bits and a sampling rate of 88.2 kHz.

The Colour Of Spring is a landmark album in the history of popular music, and one of the most influential and acclaimed works by Talk Talk. It is an essential listen for anyone who appreciates innovative and adventurous music that transcends genres and boundaries.
